Adventurers are going to be hard pressed not ordering more than what they intended at Freeport Bakery. A small shop on Freeport Blvd — West of Curtis Park — is a longtime running, start the love from scratch bakeshop. Adventurers, even though this is a breakfast destination, Citywide Spotlight approves of having a slice of cake before noon. Be careful because adventurers may walk out with an entire cake! It’s that good at Freeport Bakery, and the ambience is even better. Not too much seating inside, but the outdoor patio serves well for people looking for a white mocha and a pastry (cream cheese Danish please). Inside is very reminiscent of a vintage 1910s shop that was brought to life by some awesome owners. Not too much decor other than some unique art on the walls, but adventurers may pick up some flowers for their hotel that are on sale at the bakery.
