Home Chef Maeve, Sugar & Scribe is Citywide Spotlight featured destination in La Jolla. Motivated by the classic bakeries of the world, the design of this restaurant is sophisticated and relaxed. From the outside, it looks like a nice beach restaurant that many may bring the family to. Inside of Sugar & Scribe includes sit-down dining, a bakery counter, a coffee bar and a dog-friendly patio. Right at seven in the morning, the coffee machines turn on and the pastries start being served.
