Touch all the bases at Home Plate in San Francisco. In the Marina District on Lombard St, step into the batter's box and experience because it probably feels like home. It’s a rustic yet modern brunch spot serving up complimentary, homemade scones. A little side of jam and butter to top off those delicious treats. There’s outdoor seating for guests to nestle in a seat near the front or side towards the greenery. Inside is a place that is reminiscent of a mother’s dining room, but way bigger and less throw pillows. A lot of their menu items can be found on blackboards, like the alcohol menu right in-between two tables. Side note: it’s less than $20 per person to add bottomless mimosas to a meal.
