Pike Place Market
One of the oldest public farmers’ markets in the U.S., Pike Place Market in Elliot Bay is great for an adventurer looking to kill time, grab a bite, and snag a memento to never forget this experience. There’s lots of local booths to choose from, but don’t shy away about going through the fresh produce aisles. Heck, a tradition that’s been alive for decades is worth the trip. Go to the fish market, and test your luck catching a fish! There’s even the “World Famous Giant Shoe Museum” — that should say enough about the uniqueness that’s about to happen. It’s all in good fun, and one experience to remember. Early mornings are a great time to get there without lines, probably best before Noon… not saying it’s too crowded, but it’s a spotlight for a reason. Pike Place Market is an unwavering spot to absorb the Seattle lifestyle. - Jordan Dietterich of Surfside, Florida
