Museum of History & Industry
Surrounded by Seattle’s most iconic artifacts in Lake Union Park is the Museum of History and Industry. Travelers, this is a museum that’s not a textbook, but hands-on learning. It’s in a beautiful, luscious green park with such the grand entrance. Beautiful views here… maybe bring a side snack and sit on a bench to enjoy! The building is this old boat house looking anchor, with white and navy-blue trim all around. Entrance has two lights and anchors, and really sets the tone of the “history museum by the lake” ambience. MOHAI is a tinker with toys type of place with so much innovation on each of its three floors once a traveler pays $21.95 (and tax) to get inside. Block of at least three hours to absorb all the intricacies and Seattle resilience that made the city what it is. - Jordan Dietterich of Surfside, Florida
