Barcha Restaurant
Travelers may not expect a Mediterranean powerhouse in San Francisco to be located within an office like building, but here she rests, in all her glory. Barcha — a modern and cultural restaurant on Fremont St — attracts visitors to their patio and their exquisite dining rooms similar to casual passerby’s that are drawn in to shop by noticing what’s displayed through their windows, instantly drawn in. Barcha knows how to leave a pull people in, as they certainly did us. Walking along Fremont, visitors will notice a canopy dressed in plants and furniture all around. Moving inside, the decorating has more of a San Francisco feel than Mediterranean, but it’s does feel like the West Coast intertwined with Western Europe which makes Barcha’s inside pop. Beautiful hardwood floors accent the wooden-woven chairs, and the artwork brings out the color of the building. If there’s a thought of “I’d like a Mediterranean lunch” while in San Fran, go straight to Barcha’s and enjoy their relaxing, restaurant and top notch food. - Jordan Dietterich of Surfside, Florida
