The Citywide Spotlight featured destination is of the locally, well-known Sandia Peak Tramway. Be ready to make memories that are captured while inside one of these awesome rides. Going all the way from the NE edge of the city to the crest line of the Sandia Mountains, one of the world’s longest aerial trams is not for the feint at heart or people who do not love heights. Here’s the trip: about fifteen minutes up thousands of feet of escalation… only going 12 MPH. Once patrons reach the summit, it’s time to gaze upon the 11,000 square miles of historic New Mexico countryside land. The views are surprising and are truly spectacular.
