One of the largest urban parks in North America, resides in Los Angeles. Griffith Park, a more than 4,200 acre landscaped filled with natural beauty and stunning art near Universal Studios Hollywood. Not only does this have a Citywide Spotlight featured destination within the park (the Observatory) but there’s also the Old Los Angeles Zoo and hundreds of different species of plants. A nice caveat to keep in mind: Visitors can observe the vegetation changes as the elevation’s changes within the park.
